Clutch basket
« on: October 11, 2006, 02:21:09 PM »
I need to find a clutch basket for my 1990 K5, as mine is notched pretty badly.  I tried to order a hinson but I guess they are no longer being produced.  Who makes one, where can I get it, and how much will it cost?  Thanks.

I remember reading in one of the US MX mags that theres a bloke calling himself "Stormin Norman" that machines damaged stock clutch baskets to accept stainless steel inserts that are practically wear resistant and if you do need to fix it the inserts are replacable.

I hit Google with
Stormin Norman clutch basket inserts
And got these results...
