okay,today i Re-discovered my mean green thing.It was awesome!!!
.I've got him since october but something was wrong.He had a lot of power(of course,its a 500
)but it consumpts lots of fuel and smoked like hell.So friday i decided to take him apart because the bolt for oil draining was broken and i had a leaking gasket between the cylinder and the engine.While i was busy,i decided to clean the powervalves and checking the piston.That last item was in very good shape,but the valves needed a good checkup(special thanks to the autor of top end rebuild!).The previous owner has put the valves back with a wrong timing,there was always one exhaustport open and the upper one did'n open much.So today,after work i went to the welder for my block and put everything back together.After a few houres of work,the test moment was there.It was raining(typical belgium weather) but i did not care.After 5 times kicking,there was live.A little smoke but very good trottle respons and powerwheelies in fourth(gearing 15/42)!To make the story shorter,it was a big improvement and they may be old,but they still kicks butt
