GREEN is for john deere???

I finally got my gnarly pipe and moose spacer on WOW!! I thought I had jumped on a tractor on N20!! Big change to the low end,I now ride a gear higher for tight woods(3rd) and still have a good ol kx5 top end.As for the one kick starts you guys were right on the money it almost makes you lazy.Yes I can tell I lost a little on the top end but I hardly have 5th gear polished mainly riding in the woods,so I will never miss it. :D

Put a 14oz Steahly on there and you can tractor with an XR650 and then turn around and blow the doors of it :lol:

Did the spacer, by moving the carb back, require any modifications to the air box?

No, it's just tight. Making needle changes is more difficult because the spacer moves the carb ALMOST - not quite - behind the frame rail. For me though, the benefit was well worth the tighter clearance.
