Can a small dentist pick get behind the clip?

Funny you ask that , my wife works for a dentist and I tried that first . No it didn't work , but I did get it fixed . I had to drill a 1\8th inch hole into the rear side of the channel thatthe clip rides in . I then used a small finish nail to push the broken clip out of the groove and grabbed it with a small pair of needle nose pliers . It took about 5 minutes to do . Now all I have to do is clean up the the area where the dust seal sit's because it got damaged a little , nothing my dremel tool and a sanding and polishing bit won't take care of .
I'll post a pic of it in the gallery in a little while .
