First Ride After Complete Rebuild
« on: March 14, 2006, 01:29:54 AM »
Hey Dudes,

This past saturday I was able to ride my bike for the first time since Novemeber 05. This bike was torn down for 4 months getting the frame painted and a complete engine rebuild. The engine has a new replated cylinder, new top end kit, new crank bearings, new rod kit, new clutch kit, new trans and clutch side bearings, all gaskets and oil seals. I wish I could have took some pictures of the bike before I rode it because it will never be that clean again. I cleaned every part of the bike while it was apart.

The bike ran great with no issues. This bike was in a big box two weekends ago. Kinda looked like the bike Alan bought that was in a box. The engine just ran so smooth and clean. It took me about two full days to reassembly the bike and 7 gallons of fuel to break her in.
