anyone tried using reed spacer in reverse.instead of spacing reed cage from engine putting spacer between cage and carb boot?sort of tunnel ram effect.

I believe that does what most drag racing people want to accomplish and is more top-end. I've thought about doing some ram air type effect, as most of my riding is hard,fast riding. Let me know if this works, I'm curious.

I have been told that the ram air effect doesn't work till close to 100 so I don't think that would be worth the effort!

Ah, there's my excuse to bump the gearing! :-) I'd love to try something like a turbo, but I have too much power as it is. I can't keep the wheel from going everywhere paved or gravel.
