First of all I'd just like to say, great site and keep up the good work. I have been riding for 6 yrs now, I started on a 72 TS 250, and soon wanted something more so I got an 00 KX 100 (wicked for such a little bike), and now im riding a 95 DR 350 which I am probably going to put up on ebay soon. I've wanted a KX 500 for years now and plan on having one as soon as possible, I rode a 93 k5 and I couldn't get enough of it. I have ridden some of the new 450 mx bikes and none of them compare to the K5, none of them could satisfy my hunger for power like the KX did ....... I MUST have one.

Welcome to this great site!

This one on Ebay looks real good. I wonder why nobody took the 'Buy it now' option, seems reasonably priced.

That does seem to be a good price but, at the bottom it says he won't crate. Sometimes it doesn't take much to kill a sale when you know something may turn up just a little bit better (easier) in a couple of days.

By the way, Welcome!

Welcome, I'm glad to see another East Coaster on the site. I may have to sell my '99 if your interested. Could work out a deal to meet yyou half way. Let me know. I'd rather sellit now than loose it in a big D sale.

Welcome M Rebel. I hope you can find a KX500, that AWESOME power is great. It takes a little while for the arms to get strong enough to hang on to the 500 . 5dracing I hope you can hang on to your stuff, including the 99.  John

Yea money is a problem at the moment, got a kid on the way and am in the process of changing jobs so, once everything stabilizes a little and I have some money put back I will definately be getting meself a K5. I also check ebay nearly every day for them and watch the selling prices carefully.  If you keep your eyes peeled you can get a really nice bike for a steal. PS, thanx for the warm welcome guys, it's great to be aboard.  :D

The KX500 is still a inexpensive  piece of kit I reckon. In this country Kawasaki seems to have the cheapest quality machinery available. Get that $$ together M. R. and score yourself THE Machine.
