Alan,
You need to find a RZ350LC frame to stuff that motor into.  Cam.

The Cagiva Mito looks cool. Especially 500 powered.

I've seriously considered this, but then I decided to do a street (R6) powered KX500. :-)

Which one? Theres one with a Spondon Engineering chassis, one with a Cagiva Mito chassis (bloke calling himself Voysie or something like that) owned that one and came on here a few times, and one with a Yamaha TZ250 chassis

I will ask a few questions as at the moment I don't know much about the Spondon one or the TZ250 one myself

Scott.

An R6-engined-KX500. :D

I have done everything I can do possible to pump more power out of my KX500. So, I've decided that I'm done fooling with the single 2 stroke for drag racing. So, I purchased an R6 that had been wreaked for the engine and transmission to do an inline four KX500. :-) I was thinking of using the engine out of my old R1 to power an inline drag racer, but decided to sell it for a new one. So, I have to stick with a small 600.   Now, I'm in the market for a KX500 rolling chassis, because I'm keeping my (current) KX500 for track and trail riding, but will use the extended arm for the KX-R6, also considering a small wet-nos kit for the long uphill climbs.

I favor an inline engine for the long 1st and 2nd gears.

Though it looks like I am going to move back south. So, I might just sell the whole idea.  :(

Gabe,
Have you tried alcohol (in the bike that is)? I hav run into a couple 4-stroke dirbike ones that were impressive - but really bad mileage.  Not quite an R6 but I once built an ice racer out of a Kawaskai 750 inline 2-stroke triple.  Me and a buddy got tired of the snowmobile race guys challenge racing a dirtbike (with someones grandad riding) for a mid-race exhibition and blowing the doors off the bike.  I built it, he raced it (I was chicken). Evil looking, scary handling but very fast. The snowmobilers ran for cover after the first race. Cam.
