Its on there now. But quite a bit of difference between the years in seats. When I fitted the 250 rear guard to the 92, had no worries at all. That was a nice piece of foam in that one, Comfy and not too hard. O4 seat is soft as. Probably too soft. The seat I scored off ebay is a 96 model and is perfect, not too hard ,not too soft, Its just right. Like Goldilocks!
Also there was a little trimming to be done at the rear to fit nicely in where the straight guard humps up. No biggie though. Peeled back the cover and sliced off the excess plastic base that had been fouling the good fit. Stapled the cover back. Roberta's ya auntie! I'm quite happy with the result.
Now could be the time to send that spare barrel away and get it big bored...
