Hello, Just after some advice as I’m looking for a carb intake boot for my 87 but can’t find any . I think I read but can’t find the post now that with a slight mod a later type can be used. Anybody out there done this ?
The bike starts and idles great and pulls throughout the range but when I close the throttle it seems to take a while to settle to tick over. Plug is good colour . Checked with starter fluid for crank air leaks etc. Occasionally when stood there is a bit of dampness around the head gasket but no leaks when running. Thinking may be drawing air in when shutting off .
