38mm PWK airstriker jetting at elevation(5000ft)
« on: September 04, 2018, 10:58:15 AM »
I know the jetting thread is out there, but there isn't much on the PWK airstriker.

I replaced the original carb with a screw top 38mm PWK airstriker from JD Jetting. His recommended setting from his kit definitely didn't work.

Here is where I ended up:
158 Main
40 Pilot
3rd clip N82M needle
Air Screw 2.25 turns out

I tried a 38 pilot but it didn't seem much different from the 40 for the most part. Maybe half a turn on the air screw. I'm surprised the PWK airstriker needs such a lean pilot compared to stock.

I may try a #8 slide down the road.
