how to mount pipeguard eliminating ugly hose clamps.

after having to replace my pipe for the 3rd time in a little over a year i finally decided to buy a pipe guard.after mounting pipeguard with the supplied hose clamps i realized it wasnt the most secure way to attach the guard to pipe but it was definetly the ugliest.i called up a friend of mine who happens to be welder and asked him if he had any suggestions.he told me to bring bike over.his solution was to weld some nuts onto pipe so that i could bolt guard on.it worked out very nice and only took about 20 minutes.he stuck a piece of masking tape on pipe that fitted guard onto pipe so he could mark on masking tape where nuts would need to be welded.we decided 3 bolts would be enough to secure pipe.to keep a little clearance between pipeguard and exhaust pipe he welded 2 nuts together.which worked out good because i was able to use a slightly longer bolts when i put pipe guard on.if anyone is interested i took a few pics

Is that the extra large tank from Acerbis? Do they make them for KX5?

I think that is one of the large Clarke tanks for the KX.

What is that rear fender from?  Looks like an early 90's KDX.  How hard is it to modify to fit the K5?

What are the frame guards from, round the swingarm pivot?  I can't find any listed for the K5.
