Looking at getting some triples for my 2007 KX250 two stroke. Found some from Applied but they are listed for the 2003-2004 model.

Anyone know with 100% certainty that the 04 clamps will fit the 07 without modifying steering stem, steering stops or anything else?

i quite sure there a straight swap but you be better off getting a set of triple clamps with less off set , rg3 make a set with less off set to get more trail in the front end to get more traction on the front tyre in corners especially on flat slippery corners , this model only had 105 mm of trail ,most bikes have up to 20mm more then this , my kx of the same model has 120mm of trail with certain mods handles a lot better and the front end sticks like glue.

when kawi change from 04 to 05-08 model on kx250 they steepened head angel by 1 degree but did not change the off set on clamps which was 25mm , that was a mistake , i think the rg3 clamps are 21.5mm off set which will give you more trail, the 04 clamps wont help at all , i have seen kx450 08 clamps fitted which have less off set which helps also but are only slightly less off set then the kx250 07 .another good mod is the pro-circuit rear linkage which is 3mm longer , that helps as well.
