06 KX450 leaking "Y" connector
« on: April 23, 2018, 01:03:44 PM »
Hey everyone, this is my first post. I have a 2006 KX450F and I had a slow coolant leak that I would notice running down my hose on the right side. I replaced all the hoses and it still had the leak, after looking closer it might have a hairline crack in the plastic "Y" connector. I was wondering if anyone else may have had this issue, and if so do you know of any aluminum replacement "Y" connectors as opposed to the OEM plastic piece. I know there are the one piece radiator hoses but I dont feel like spending the money for those when I just bought all new hoses.

Hey guys new to the forum. I'm having a similar issue. I have a 2012 kx450f with a ti5 and rc4 header. Is there a way to stop my header from coming in contact with my hose? I had to buy new ones because it's burning a hole through it and leaking now. Please help. Need something to try to stop it from touching it and burning a hole through my new radiator hose.
