KX 250 1990/ 125 1991Stator CDI Match

Has anybody on here used a KX 125 stator on a KX 250 and if so can you confirm that it does work?

I found an after market stator on ebay that says both 250 and 125 OEM part numbers are a match, I already have a 125 stator OEM number 21003-1223 and am guessing that the wires that do match in colour are correct to pair up with the 250 CDI (wires temp twisted together in pics), does anybody know if the white pairs up with the orange? Thanks
