2018 Yamaha YZ 65
« on: February 10, 2018, 03:11:43 AM »
According to Dirt Bike, it’s real and it gets unveiled tonight at the San Diego Supercross. There is a video ad from Yamaha that teases its arrival linked in the story. Scroll down and you’ll see it after the CR story.

Someone posted this pick on VitalMX of one in a crate.  It’s nice to see Yamaha at least trying to compete with the pumpkins.

It’s a really slick looking bike. They styled it after the bigger bikes.  I hope you’re correct kxdino, and it causes Kawasaki to look at their 65. This thing sounds ready to go right after the orange bikes.

Here's another view from Dirt Bike's website.  It's interesting that they went with a PDS style suspension, when the YZ 85 has linkage.

Yzs are so nice.. hoping they something with the 85 soon.

Be nice if we had a a restyled plastics set as a starter for the KX65.

one fault with the yami no linkage as umberto pointed out , so it harder to change rear end height as they do with linkage bikes , kids are all different in height,

It sounds pretty stout.  Those front forks almost look like they've been Kashima coated.
