I haven't done this switch over on your particular bike but have with older CR's. You will have to switch out steering stems on the triple tress /bearings which will require a press. Also keep in mind the steering stops my be in different locations, not the end of the world, you can add or remove material as needed. Adding will obviously require some welding.
