Hey Guy's I was washing the truck today and figured I would wash the mud off my riding gear so I could have my wife throw it in the wash. I had the simple green out for the truck and I just figured I would spray down my pants and shirt. I let it set for about 5 mins and rinsed them off with the hose. The pants and jersey look like they just came out of the wash. My wife was glade I found a way to clean my own gear and not put it her washin machine. I mixed the simple green with just alittle water. No color fade or bleeding. Next I let them air dry.

I just put mine in the washer on cold water setting on a gentle setting. I wash them at least ever other time I ride.

If it is really muddy I like to hose off the worst at the car wash before it goes in the washing machine. I'll have to try the simple green thing. Cam.

Using simple green and hosing off worked great. My wife just can't stand to have anything muddy looking put into her washin machine. This way the gear is not beat up from a wash cycle of the machine.

Does she hose you down before she lets you in the house!

I forgot about mud, since we don't have much in the desert!

Red clay mudd can make a mess and stain anything.

I've used simple green to clean just about everything I ride in or on.

My grandfather is a retired city fleet head mechanic (in his 80's now) and my grandmother has used Simple Green for his greasy clothes as long as I can remember, literally. As a matter of fact their house is the first place I ever heard of the stuff. I have to wonder why I havent ever used it. I know its great stuff. Must be the rebelious spirit in me I guess.
