FMF makes them for Service Honda. The pipe is an FMF Honda CR500 Gnarly with a KX500 header flange. FMF would not sell the pipe directly or the silencer which has a longer mid-pipe when I inquired years ago. I had to go through Service Honda. The P/N for the FMF "Q" custom mid-pipe length Turbine Core silencer that fits my 2008 KX450F/500AF is 03/20/07/122002 and I also believe just the silencer section to be for a CR500 also.

I do not know what pipe I have on mine but believe it is a CR500 with a KX500 header welded to it.  The CR part is all shiny and plated and the KX part is more of a gun metal color.

Might call around to local machine shops and see if they would be interested in a side job.

There just happens to be some dyno work being done tomorrow on a cone pipe that will be offered very soon.
They are testing a stock, PC2, and the cone pipe.
As well as some different carbs.
I'm hoping that we will get some numbers to share very soon.
If the numbers are good then I'll let you know how to contact them.

They have expressed interest in building a AF version.
I have a brand new AF pipe that I can send to them.
Just waiting on the Dyno results to splash out some coin  8-)

For a KX500 chassis or a AF chassis?
As far as I know if you don't get one through Service Kawasaki (Which they aren't available right now) the only other AF pipe I'm aware of is from Dynoport.

thats how you build a cone pipe. very few true craftsmen left.

he has jigs/donor bikes to use for mock ups.

they built by hand out of a flat piece of sheet metal. so ya, its not the place you are going to get something cheap or fast. but it will be good. if you scroll through his facebook you probably can find a pic of my stainless cone pipe.
