1998 KX125 Power Valve Shaft obsolete part

1998 KX125 power valve shaft
I've searched and searched and cannot find the information I need.
The part I am referring too is OEM #13107-1374 it is the powervalve shaft that can be seen with the gear teeth when the right side KIPS linkage cover is removed.  The one I have has a broken gear tooth and I need to replace it. UnfortunatelyTHIS PRODUCT IS OBSOLETE.This Kawasaki 13107-1374 SHAFT is used on these models and components: 1998.  I want to buy new if I can. According to all the cross references this is an orphaned part. Looking at the 1999 KX125 parts diagram, the part is available and looks exactly the same but has a different part number.
Does anybody have some experience with these two years or have parts available to compare?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

be good if you can get both parts side by side for a comparison , there could be the smallest of difference , that why the number different , there is a chance you could mod the later one to fit , it could also be made out of a better material , i dont know, let the site know what you find out.

Look on eBay for a cylinder that has all the valves still in it.
Take what you need and sell the rest.
All 2T's are getting harder and harder to find parts for.
10 years ago I could buy a 98 125 for less then 500 dollars.
Now the same bike with a blown motor is 700-1200 in our local area.
And, they don't come up very often anymore.
Until the economy takes a serious turn up, younger riders won't have expendable cash to buy new bikes...
I'm waiting for the glory days again  :|
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Australia not to good for finding old kxs or parts for them , its mainly a honda and yamaha country ,they would only bring in a handfull of k5s in every year, its better now with the kxf models there heaps of them here. there asking good money for k5 here 5k to 10k at the moment depending on condition of course.

Im interested in one of the sub exhaust valves if they came out of a 1851 cylinder for a 1998 kx250 as long as they don't have any burrs or wear on the gears.
