AGE AGE AGE bottom line I love my k5 but my ktm300 is my main bike, ill be 50 on the 18th my mind is 21 my body 50 my current status is 60 lol ride till you die!!!

At 55 I'm still needing the scare factor... Comfort is secondary.... but probably not for much longer... :-D

Scare factor for life!

Comfort, we can still have the best of both worlds.....

They come in the form of Rekluse clutches, custom squishy seats, e starts and in the not too near future hopefully EFI. The list will go on.

Hahaha by the time I ever get around to building a K5 it will have to be like a fluffy cloud I’ll be that old. Let’s just hope the technology keeps rolling in.

No plans for EFI sandblaster?  :-P

Lol... Doubt it...
I'm trying not to scratch it now but it's so hard....
I only have to be careful until after the build off is done and the photo's are taken...
Then I will take it to the desert and flog it...

I haven't measured them but I believe they are 20mm..
It's definitely not the 26mm..

That's funny. I just got the Ti Powercore 2.1 yesterday and am doing the same thing! I removed both brackets and am going to rivet just the rear one back on in the proper location and put rivets back into the original holes. It has a 30mm inlet pipe vs the 32mm on the k5 (28 and 30mm id's  respectively). I cut the inlet pipe off 1" from the silencer and have a straight section of 32mm od pipe from my scalvini pipe which slips right over the silencer inlet. The people at FMF were totally useless and wouldn't bother to even give me the dimsions of the few that they carry for modern 2 strokes so it was trial and error to find one close. I tried the YZ250 one first but it was only a 28mm inlet pipe.
