We almost tacked the frame rails last night.
But, I want to take a trip to the nearest KTM dealer with my scale and tape measure.
Verify, verify, verify...
Once I'm totally happy (I think I am there now) I will take the setup to my welder who use to tig weld chromoly bicycle frames and have him do a nice job.
I'm sure that Jason Tanner could weld it but I'd rather have a professional do it on this project.
We are currently removing the engine mounts from the old frame rails and seeing if they will work..



It's funny how close the stock KX500 mounts are...

Yes, I have a Service Kawasaki pipe that I will mock up the bike with and may end up running it.
I'm hoping to get a cone pipe for it before... Almost spilled the beans....  :-o

I also checked the clearance to the rads... No issues...

Next Jason and I mounted the carb to start checking the air box issues...
You can see the Adam Millar made Billet VF2 reed set up..

Your radiator clearance is a lot better than mine for sure. How is the gas tank clearance?
