Long story short I got a good deal on a 2002 kx 250 verified by Vin as year, and there has been some of the most hack eye wenching ever done to this bike, which would have steered me away were it not for the price and that I knew the bike was pieced together after a road crash, but the extant of the incorrect parts would amaze. Anyway current is that the front hub appears to be from a different bike, hub is marked s-fr on the rotor side with that being the only marking. The hub also has 6 bolts as opposed to the 2002 kx250 4 bolt arrangement. Can anyone identify this hub?
More than that the wheel spacers are clearly from that hub, as they do not match the 2002 wheel spacers. These are both equal sizes and the 2002 kx250 has two different. I went through this same crap rebuilding the back wheel. The hub was from a cr, half the brake parts were from a cr 250 and on and on. Bike is almost back together, full rebuild ground up but gotta sort this out. I really don't wanna lace another wheel, just like to figure out this hub and sell the thing as a whole and buy correct just need help identifying.
