'06 kx250 swingarm
« on: January 03, 2017, 09:06:08 AM »
I'm doing a resto on an '06 kx250. Among other things the last owner looks to have rode it with the rear axle bolt loose. Because of this the caliper bracket, axle bolt holes, adjustment blocks, and the part of the singarm the caliper bracket slides onto are all worn badly. '06 and '07 are the only years that use this part # which is making used part difficult to find.

Does anyone know of other year or model of bikes swingarm that will work?

Thanks in advance for the help.

a 05 should fit as well , you can repair the wear , had a few done before , i also fitted the kx450f caliper assembly and hose so the caliper bolt does not dig in to the swingarm when they get a bit of slop, had to file a bit wear the caliper bracket goes thats about it , if you want to loose some unsprung weight fit rear axle and nut off 15 and on kx450 f plus side its lighter and there no cotter pin as the nut self locks. If you need more info on to make these models better let me know , done a lot of developing on these bikes over the years.
