Stupid crappy KX250F 2004 not starting

Right so my 2004 KX250F had literally no compression and
Always hard to start , so I fitted a new piston and rings aswell
As gaskets.
Still the compression was crappy , so I changed the valve shins to spec and yet still
Crap compression and not starting.
All torqued properly and timing is spot on , now it does not
Even sound like its attempting to start.
So I take the spark plug out and there is the very little of no spark on the end stroke
I'm hoping this is something simple like the spark
Plug cap and not the stator.
Yes I have tried a new plug and the bike does not even bump start
Does anybody have and advice or options for

I have spent a lot of time trying to keep a 2004 KX250F running and wasted a lot of money.  My best advice, and I am not being cynical, throw it away and get something else.  They are throw away bikes that have a life limit of but a few years.  However, the cams are problematic and the gear slips on the camshaft causing it to slip timing a lot.  There is a hole on the cam gear that should line up with horizontal holes on your cam lobes.  If they don't line up, you need a new cam.

yep suzuki and kawasaki joint venture bike suzuki done the engine and kawi the frame etc , i always believe it was rushed in to production and was not tested enough , once they went there ways the kx250f started to improve , i have a lot to do with them from 09 onwards and have seen big hrs on these bikes , of course they have weak links , but what bikes dont the good thing is the later ones can be made to last longer with a few mods and when i have not had a ride for awhile , the 250f is the bike i choose to clean the rust off myself before i jump on 450 and 500 2t , alward right get another bike . put this one in the lemon museum .

Ive been wanting to do a KLX250/300, with a Bill Blue 351 bb kit, swap into a 04-06 KXF/RMZ250 frame. Dont know why just want to. Alward, how do they handle?

kxf and rmz 250were the same bike in 04 and 05 kawi went to alloy frame in 06 , and going by memory suzuki did not bring out a 250f 06 they went out and produced a new 07 , this was after kawi and suz went there separate ways , the 04 and 05 bikes had steel frames and should be better for modifications .

i have both 2 and 4 stroke , but i always treasure 2 strokes as you cant beat them for the fun factor .

After having the same bike for about 10 years and giving it various rebuilds I have finally come the the same decision, get rid of it!

Have you looked at the loom? I had an issue of it runnin one minute and not the next, turned out to be the loom.

I also recently done piston and valves and mine would start ever. I spent about an hour bump starting it and then it started, it was then ok for some reason having said that I now have other issues with it again😡
