It seems like Yamaha has seen the light on increasing the model range (including 2Ts).  Maybe Kawasaki will too.  I'm not holding my breath, but how hard would it be to modify the 250F frame to hold a 2T motor for cross country and then adding lighting and other goodies for enduro.  It could be complemented by cross country and enduro versions of the KXF models. The costs could be held down with the increased production of all components.  That's what Yamaha is doing with the YZFs, but Kawasaki could take it even further by offering a 2T option in its newest frames.  A 250 or 300 would really sell well (I would buy one!).
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

yeah, I remember don46 did a beautiful KDX/KX hybrid....probably one of the nicest/cleanest builds I've seen.

Easy... Get everyone across the globe to only buy two strokes...
The industry would change overnight
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

KTM sure doesn't have any trouble selling all its 2Ts every year.  I would imagine Yamaha is doing okay as well (even though they haven't done much to them in a decade or so).  I just keep hoping that the other non-Honda brands will maybe put a toe in the water with something.

I'm dumping my low hour 2008 Rmz250. Bought it new. Might trade for a nice Rm250 or yz250 on Craigslist if I can. Or maybe  a new Husky 250.
