Gear output 2nd 13129-1955

Hi,
Trying to find a gear 13129-1955 to my KX500-89. By it seems difficult to get.
Any ideas of where to find one?

Yes, not available any more. But I did find out that you could use a set of gears from a later year. So the problem is solved. A small change in ratio, but not sure that I will notice..

are they "discontinued", or "back-ordered"?...
when I replaced my entire tranny 2 years ago, 3rd and 5th gear sets were back-ordered for about a month.

BikeBandit.com has em listed as "back-ordered"...which is potentially a good thing...if they were listed as "discontinued"...then there'd be zero hope.

Yeah, we ordered 3 full sets of gears last year, some took a few months to get in.
Unfortunately it's just a matter of time before they will be all gone.
Better start hording  8-)

ugh I'm looking for output 4th that engauges with output third, also rounded dogs but I have one coming. 13260-1021 is the kawasaki part number and using k-dealer ( I work at a Kawasaki dealer) it shows the availability as N/A which means all gone as far as I know. :,(

i have heard of guys fixing the dogs on the gears up , no choice if you cant get them anymore and you dont want to pay for a custom gear to be made , wonder what that would cost , anyone?
