Scot had a friend of his do it for him.
I don't know who or if he would be willing to do more..

Stripped the trans, cleaned every part, inspected everything, replaced every cir-clip, washer, and bushing..   Standard stuff :-)



Fresh out of the oven..   No freezing of the cranks anymore... Don't need it...



Drop in the crank while it is hot..

A bit more progress..





This basket had been filed on before and the tangs were angled instead of inline with the clutch plates so it was going to wear out very quickly.
So, Jason files them square again.
While filing on a clutch basket really should not be done, the basket can be replaced relatively easily.
And, with a new bottom end you don't want the customer to have shifting issues so.. File away..

On our KX500 builds we replace all the goodies in the governor... Bearings, spring, washers, ect..

The flywheel came in today..
It cleaned up pretty good..




It's baking in the oven right now for an hour at 200F
