Kx250 Applied clamps mounting?

Recently i purchased an Applied lower clamp for my kx250 forks.
Pretty cheap too.
BUT!
I have been looking for a matching top clamp and found that they do not use the rubber bushing method as the OEM clamps do?
As i have already purchased billet damping cones and a new pro circuit bar clamp
This means i will not be able to use either?
So which feels the best?
Solid mounted bars or the OEM version with the cones?

Hi Swordcombat. Foxx, on this forum, has mentioned to me before that solid mounts feel much better when riding. Also, you don't need to correct the positioning of the bars every time you lightly lay the bike down with solid mounts. I have not tried solid mounts myself, but will definitely give them a try.

I can't say everyone likes solid mounts, I do know some guys that don't....but I myself will never go back to the s**tty rubber mounts.
With the rubber mounts, there's just that little bit of "give", that translates into vibration.
With the solids, it's just that!, solid...next to no vibration.

What im saying is that the applied clamp only has holes big enough for the bolts at the bottom of the bar clamp.
So no rubber or aluminium comes are involved.
Though i do have the OEM top clamp with billet cones , what would be the best to use
The clamp with no cones or the OEM clamp with billet cones.

hard to say...it only takes a few minutes to swap em out....I'd try both ways, and see how they work/feel....you might like one better than the other.

I have a couple of KTMs that have solid mount bars, and I don't really notice the difference in vibration.  That being said, I think Foxx has a good idea to try both clamps and see which one you like better.
