Crankshaft rebuild?
« on: January 02, 2016, 10:43:34 PM »
Hi!

I have a pair of crankshafts in need of rebuilding. I saw you offer rebuilt and balanced ones in your ebay shop, and just wanted to ask if you would do a "core service", i.e. the customer sends his used one for a rebuild and gets a serviced one in return?

Cheers/

Lasse

I was hoping that nobody would see that
Yes, I have been kicking around that idea.
And it would be less expensive then selling them on eBay, especially with a good core.
Also we would offer them polished and not polished
But I don't really have a cost right now.
Also, I am in the middle of moving my shop as well as my home so I can't easily take on more work until about the middle of Feb 15th 2016.
But in the mean time you can have Todd at Pinsonnault Racing build and balance you a crank.

I'm not sure if he polishes parts but you could ask him.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
