SUZUKI 1964 K10 ENGINE BUILD
« on: November 19, 2015, 04:52:29 PM »
Unfortunately I don't have any pics of what we started with but I can assure you that this engine was junk...
We had a nightmare finding parts.
I hope I never see another one of these
The problem was the transmission was really bad.
We had to find new/used gears and finding the bearings was absurd.
The only manual we could find was burnt around the edges and what little info was in there was a joke...
Anyway, enough of the whining... here's some pics of where we are currently at..

More progress...

Ok, let's put this back into the bike and do some heat cycles...

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Thanks!
It went to another shop in town before we got it.
Let's just say I see why so many bike shops have a bad reputation...

Or, just send us the aluminum, we'll blast it, and you can do the work yourself  8-)
