G"Day guys. Rode my KX for the first time yesterday and I cannot say how impressed I am with the bike. From the impression I got from other people the bike was going to be a real handful and it was quite the opposite. What an easy bike to ride, with all that power and great handling it is a pleasure to ride. My other current ride is an 04 YZF450 and the 01 KX is a close match.

Ahh dump the yz . You,ll never go back now. Kx is the do all good for everything bike. Probably get better mileage from it too. Like how hours will the yamaha do before the dreaded rebiuld? Compared to a life time for the Kx {ask Cam}. And I rekon that yamahas that I have ridden are like a board, stiff, not much feed back through the bars. Also way down on power. The Kx is like 65 hp at the crank. Whats a 4 stroke 450 put out? But thats only my $0.02 worth. Wadda you other guys reckon?    Any way welcome aboard. All you,ll ever need to know about the glorious, Best bike ever built is right here.

Keep the YZ450F for the motocross tracks and put the KX500 in the WOODS.
