My name is Jerry Fitzpatrick. I am from Central Ohio (west of Columbus). I work at OSU. My ride is a 2000 KX250. Suspension tuned for a chubby guy(pro action),Steahly FWW, IMS tank, EE handguards and acerbis disc cover. Stock pipe with an FMF powercoreII silencer (would like to trade it for a turbinecoreII). I'm coming off a 97 ktm620sx, and I like the KX so much better for Ohio woods riding. I run an offroad group through my church that includes about 15 guys, aged 16 through 55. It's pretty cool. Any of you close enough to come are welcome. We call it Cypress Offroad. We meet every other Monday, and we go riding together as often as we can. I happened across this website today, and I really like it. Nice meeting you all. i look forward to chatting with all of you!

Welcome, I talked with you about the purchase of your KTM, but couldnt make the trip out for it. I did buy a KX 500 about an hour away from home.

I too have said his name when riding, sometimes with that reverential praise (thank God) and sometimes in vain.(G.D. it) Depends on the situation. But everytime I ride and come back safely I thank him.

5d, The guy who bought the 620 ended up parting it out on ebay, and got $800 more than what he paid me for it..Imagine that! I was able to finagle the KX from him for 1700 though, so I got a great deal myself.

I am so glad I got rid of the 620 and got my KX. I never thought of trying a 500 though. I am a heavier guy so maybe that would have been better. Right now I'm loving the 250 but maybe we can hook up sometime at a place between here and there and you can give me a ride on your 5hunny.

BTW, I have been through the same praise and cursing process myself. I think we all have. As long and you end up where you described, it's all good!

Going down to Wayne for a work day this Saturday to try and help get the trails opened back up. Anyone who wants to come, let me know and I'll give you the details!
