New here with a 2004 KX125.
« on: August 22, 2015, 12:06:12 PM »
Hey all, I recently purchased a 2004 KX125. It didn't come with an owners manual. If any of you have the same bike, can you tell me the part number for the owners manual (it's usually on the back of the book) so I can order one.
Plus, anything I need to know (typical problems or best mods) about it?
Thanks.

Good choice
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Only reason i prefer pdf files is because I can run.off multiple copies of pages when I need a diagram so that I dont get my manual greasy lol.

Some of the factory Kawasaki manuals are available in pdf for free online if you do a google search.  I got the manual for my 88 K5 (for the engine) and my 03 and 04 KX 250.  I just print a copy and bind it. If it gets greasy, I just reprint that page or section.   Of course it helps to have a huge copier and a binding machine in your store too.   :-D
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

I printed out my pdf manual and put it in those clear binder sleeves and have a binder so that i can use my greasy fingers and just wipe the page clean when im done.
