Did you use a vacuum tool to draw the fluid or did you gravity bleed?Sometimes even with a vacuum tool they can be a pain.If you have someone that can help, you have them pump the tool while you keep the reservoir full and you also actuate the brake system.Sometimes nothing else will work...
I am unsure witch is left and right for the upper radiator hoses, one is different, at a gess I would say the shorter one goes to the tall left hand radiator?

Both my radiator hoses look more like the one on your left side, the one with the "slight" bend. They must have changed the design a bit in the aftermarket hoses.There are a couple pics of the hose setup in my build thread.Yes my old hoses both had the 90 bends in them, I put the 90 degree one to the left as it had another bend in the top to match up with the top radiator pipe.
