KX250 piston help.
« on: August 16, 2015, 11:50:52 AM »
I am sending my cylinder off to be replated but I am having trouble finding a piston in nz, I want them to size the bore to a standed size piston witch is around 67.4mm.

Would the 67.5 mm oversize piston from a 1992 work with the 1990?

not sure if you've looked into these guys yet to see if you can get one, don't see why you couldn't....but these are the pistons and rods you want to use, period.

this page is set for the '90 KX250...

Wossner does make a piston for a 1990 kx250.
I had Millennium Tech quote a plate job on a 1990 kx250 cylinder for me, supplied with a STD Wossner piston, Cometic gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing.
If you have a hard time getting one Alward25 or myself can get you one.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Cool thanks guys, I was hoping to find a piston in Newzealand to avoid the postage and exchange rate GST tax etc, I think I might have found a B Wossner piston.

This place is going to do my cylinder http://nzcylinders.com/ I hope they can fix my cylinder,
