Start off with kx450 16 stock except for fmf ti pipe against std k5 frame and 01 hybrid k5 , k5 shared fmf pipe , windowed pistons vf2 was in hybrid and stock reeds were in std frame plus a few other small options , all engines are fresh within 2 hrs , strip was moist sand with short grass , a lot traction so 2nd gear roll ons were the go even tried 3rd gear roll ons to try stopping unwanted wheelies , we tried a straight section than moved on to a section were we started on a sweeper which straighten up for as long as you want , maximum speed in top gear , gearing was standard on 450 and hybrid and 2 teeth more on std frame k5 , out come was 450 and std frame about the same with the hybrid slowly going away in top gear only and I mean about a bike length , so the 450 has come a long way as all these bike 3 pull the 13 to 15 models 450 easily as I tested my 14 against the 16 the weekend before , now we weighed the 450 16 against the hybrid k5 on the scales and came up that close it wasn't worth splitting hairs had a rmz 250 14 sitting around and it was heavier fuel level was about the same , wont give out the weight figures as it was a needle scales and are hard to be accurate but good enough to see if there is a fair difference , we had 3 riders swapping bikes and resuits were the same , all in all it was good fun , now I want to get a heap of 250 f and 2t together and see what they can do?
