I'm a D36 (NorCal) Vet C enduro rider/trail rider. I've had my '90 KX500 since Xmas '95 but haven't ridden it since April '99. I blew out my left knee in early May '99 and picked up my '99 WR400 3 days later so when I got back on a bike the KX sat. And sat. And sat. I'm finally getting it running again in hopes of using it for some of the D36 enduros and the occassional desert trip. First real ride will be the DRN Valentine's Weekend Ride at Reno. I've really learned to love the 4stroke power delivery so I'm hoping to get the KX to mimic that as much as possible with a flywheel weight and reed spacer.

Welcome, I have the 14oz Stealhy, an FMF Fatty, VForce Delta II, Moose reed spacer. I've been told my KX is like a VERY hot XR650 minus 40lbs or so.
