1984 KX250 exhaust
« on: June 29, 2015, 01:56:45 PM »
So i am having some troubles on finding an expansion pipe for this year KX. I bought the bike with out a pipe/ exhaust system. The previous owner does not have the pipe but said it was crushed in a trail ride crash. I have recipts saying bottom end and top end were all re done and rest of bike is in really great shape but if i can not find an exhaust or find a retro fight i wont keep it.
Thank you for all replys and help. O have sear hed eby and private pipe fabricators. Ebay had nothing for the exact year and custom pipes are 300$+.

I would watch eBay every day....
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I owned a 1984 Tecate and 1984 Kx250. The pipes are nothing alike in shape. The KX pipe crosses over top of the motor from the left side to have the stinger on the right side.

The tecate pipe just runs down the left side.

The build was written up here:
