Really dumb airbox question

Dou you guys run those 2 circular vents on either side of the airbox open or closed? One of mine was loose and spinning in a circle while the bike was running so I siliconed it in the closed position. Just curious. :P

I run mine closed,and the filter still gets real dirty every ride.

I always run mine open, which is the correct position unless you are running in wet conditions!

 If the filter is getting dirty with just one ride it is doing its job well! You must be riding in really dusty conditions! I would worry more if it wasn't getting dirty!

Buy a couple of extra filters and or get some skins, clean them all at once then use them all up nand start over!
