Benefits of Steath Flywheel Weights

Hi All,

I was looking into getting a flywheel weight.

Does this help smooth out the typical 2 stroke engine?

Meaning that lurching feel when you're barely on the throttle?

Seems like my 87 KX 250 loves to be run, but doesn't like operating at steady throttle. Once you put a load on it it's fine....and when you get on it...well that's where it like to be run....

I'm planning on riding on the street and wanted something to smooth her out.

yes it will smooth it out a bit...I don't know how many different weight options are available for it, so you may not get enough "tameness" that you're looking for.
a reed spacer will help also, but it will focus the power more down low, at the expense of a little top end.
