22lr ammo ?
« on: May 31, 2015, 01:59:44 PM »
Does anyone have an ammo connection for 22lr ammo? $59 for 500 rounds feels like dropping the soap in prison  :-o

Got a sweet 10/22 ruger & have only managed a brick through it might just have to lube up & go for it.

Sorry if this is a little close to politics & religion

I buy it whenever I can find it.
A have a few thousand rounds saved up.
I find out when the local stores get ammo in as part of their normal shipments and then I appear  8-)
Walmart is a pretty good source in our area... Bimart... Cabela's... Fred Meyers... and all the sporting good stores.
But nobody has any on the shelves... You gotta get there early.
I have two 10/22's... one for each hand...

The price for 22lr has not gone up much for many, many years until the 'ammo crisis' happened. Then it became 'supply and demand'. I picked up a bunch of 'Wolf" brand before that happened but have not shot much of it. It is crazy to see empty shelves of 22lr for so long though I do hear of more people finding it of late.
