Bad 125 trans?
« on: November 03, 2016, 04:19:04 AM »
I have an 03 kx125 that is making a bad bearing noise in the motor and stops when I pull the clutch in. Basket bearing seems fine and couldn't find signs of metal on metal grinding

Noisy when rolling or on a stand?
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Have you looked at the exploded diagram of your clutch and thought about how it works?
Did you completely remove the basket and inspect the bearings, bushings, and washers?
When you had the clutch cover off did you try to wiggle the basket up or down and in and out?
