Zipty Gas tank... Who wants one?
« on: May 13, 2015, 11:30:32 AM »
Hi friends, I own a nice 91 500 equiped with a zipty gas tank. I still dont know well why, but its crancked in the inner area over the jug. As you may know; those tanks are no longer in production... but theres a chance to buy it now!!!

So if you whish to change the capacity, handle and look of your KX500 this is your chance.

I need to know if any of you is intrested, price will be near $280+ shipping each one, and it will take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.

I would like to say I'm not earning a single dime with this, all the bussines will be made at Zipty by them. I only need a replacement for my tank, and I'll pay the same $280 for it.

Let me know if you are intrested!!!
Regards
Mike

Zip Ty has IMS make them and they are still available for custom order from IMS.  The pipe is the hard item to get.  Try to get Zip-Ty to get a batch of those done.  That is what we really need.

The original Zip-Ty stamp dies to make that pipe no longer exist.  FMF was making a Low boy pipe but after they got big it is no longer cost effective so they do not make it anymore and don't do custom orders unless you buy like 1000 to make it worth their while.  Unless you have some good sweet talking skills and can get Don Emler on this forum to solicit orders.

Good Luck!

Gorgeous shot man.

You could use a cr500 low pipe, cpi, fmf, pro crapit, for anybody wanting the low pipe/tank combo. Just re flange & use the cr5 silencer. Good luck on a new tank

if I only had a pair, I could actually ride this thing

& to the people I like  FYYFF

Is the neck cracked? Or is it the cap?

OK, IMS people answer me that they could make me one tank for the same price at Zipty, I think that speak very well of Ziptyracing, couse they are not making a huge bussines and killing our pockets.

Now I'll ask for just one if nobody else is intrested.

Cheers
