Beginners bike for BIG friend
« on: April 26, 2005, 02:12:46 AM »
All,

I was wondering if someone could help me out here?

I have a friend who's quite big (as in overweight). He's interested in bikes and will buy an offroad machine. This main use will be occational 'soft' riding in the woods.

What would you recommend for this type of riding?

Thanks!

//John

That's what I keep telling him but he want's something to match his size i.e. BIG. He's more of a zero maintanace lazy 4-stroke man... If he ever buys a road bike it would be a Harley.  :|

You say that like it's a bad thing. :lol:

What about an XR400?

But I still say a KDX would be the right bike.

Thanks for all the tips!

Are these aggressive machines? Haven't tried one myself. This guy is a careful driver...
