2000 KX 125 Brakes/Brake Pads/Spring, Pad

Does anyone know how to install Part #92144 from the schematic below? It's the brake spring,pad. The way I have it in there right now I can hear it scraping the rotor when I spin the wheel.

Brake Pads should keep this up & away from the rotor. It goes into the caliper first as pictured then the pads...

Are these first two photos of the front brake caliper demonstrating the correct placement of the spring pad? I hear the brake rotor slightly scraping something when i spin the wheel.





I have absolutely no idea how to install this rear spring pad. Any input?

The front caliper spring is wrong  :|

Your rear caliper spring is upside down and needs to move to the right so that the little clips align on the caliper.

Thanks so much Sandblaster for all that info. I was able to get them installed correctly now.

2 Questions:

-What are the black rubber pieces on top of the pistons? My pistons are just gold and that is what squeezes the pad.

-My brakes are working but I do hear a slight scraping when both front and rear wheels spin. It's the rotor on the pads. Is that ok? Will that stop after riding the bike for a couple minutes?
Both the rotors and the pads are brand new.

Don't worry about the piston style.
My pistons are plastic (Stock) and yours are steel (After market).
Yours will work just fine.
As long as your brake rotors are not bent beyond the factory tolerance your good.
It's not unusual to hear them rub a bit after letting off the brake pressure.
It should only be a light rub though.
There should be no binding.
And generally it goes away after a bit of riding.
