What to look at in the clutch?
« on: April 22, 2005, 09:29:41 AM »
Alright, i researched all the different posts about clutch's and what not on here, and i've read a couple about the 4th gear being non-existent, and its kind of what mine was doing, 4th gear wouldnt pull but 5th would.  I see to look at if the dogs are worn, what are "dogs".  And also, what do i need to look at on my clutch plates too see if i need to replace them??? I have no experience with the clutch being off. thanks guys -seth

Upon further inspection, on the basket, there is some scoring or scrape marks on the outside of the basket.  If i can get my digital camera working, i'll try to post pics. seth
