Hi all,
I'm getting ready to replace my rear wheel since it was cracked and welded. (87 KX250)
The welding wasn't done by a seasoned welder at the shop, but "they" said they could do it. Took it back a second time since I saw a hairline crack in the weld and now I'm out the money I spent. Plus I can't adjust the spokes to straighten it out.
Anyway, live and learn.....I'll feel safer with 2 new rims and spokes underneath me anyway....Plus now I can "properly" clean up and paint both hubs
I have new rims and spokes and asking for advise before I disassemble the old wheels.
I know to measure the offset, but what else should I do before, during and after I start?
dinky,
