Hi everyone, thinking of doing a 250 or a 500 2 stroke into an alloy frame conversion and came across the forum doing a google search  :-D

Lots of good info and some spectacular bikes on here, I'm mainly into VMX but am looking to do one of our races called the Finke desert race which I believe is similar to your Baja (check it out here http://finkedesertrace.com.au/ )

Quick question:  do either the 250 or 500 engine fit into the 250F or 450F without modifying the Y piece??

Cheers
Andrew

Welcome to the forum.
You will need to modify the Y piece for either conversion
A buddy and I are trying to work out a easier conversion method but it would still require cutting and welding.
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
