I just though I would say hi I have been ready over your site. I raced mx on a k5 in 91 92 93.
This morning my brother in law and I just picked up two k5,s. The $900 dollar one in il by st louis that was advertised for $900 I got it for $700 and it dissent run too bad but will need gone through. My brother in law bought the one in st Charles mo for $1800.
I am having thoughts of putting mine a 2008 YZ450 frame any advice would be appreciated.

Rode a brand new 08 450 yam , front would slide out half way around a corner , not good , there better combination out there , get a kxf frame just remember to fit 21.5 or 22 mm off set triple clamps to it and it will handle fine , there plenty of info on this site on how to do it right , I reckon keep it all kawi , it will be worth more in the end , and you can get all the parts from one shop etc. plus don't cut corners it will cost you more in the long run.
